That the Council of the PRESENTED BY 'City of Saint Paul hereby approves and 'COMMISSIONER DATE authorizes -thee osed leasing under RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul hereby approves and authorizes the proposed leasing, under a Contract of Lease, for a period of two years and eleven months by the City of Saint Paul, as lessor, after due advertisement therefor and the reception of competitive bids, in the premises, of said City's real estate situate within its corporate limits and described in the pertinent',specifications therefor, hereinafter mentioned, as follows, to -wit: City -owned block bounded by Wabasha Street, Twelfth Street, Cedar Street, and College Avenue, unto the highest, reasonable and reliable bidder therefor, as lessee, for use by said lessee for the latter'rs maintenance and operation for,and during the lease term of a public motor vehicle parking lot on such block, subject to and in accordance with the aforesaid specifications therefor, prepared and herewith submitted by the Commissioner of Public Works; RESOLVED FURTHER, that said specifications hereby are in, all things approved, and that the City Purchasing Agent hereby is authorized and directed to make due advertisement and demand for formal competitive sealed bids for the award of said Contract of Lease, and that said Contract of Lease shall be awarded and made only upon such formal competitive sealed bids and after due advertisement and demand therefor in accordance with all applicable requirements,of Section 297 and all other applicable provisions of the City Charter.
