WHEREAS, The Commissioner of Libraries, Auditorium, Museums
and Stadia has reported in accordance with Sectiop -,,53 df'the
City Charter, the existence of an emergency during the period
from May 1 to May 15, 1958, which rendered necessary the `
employment of certain employes of the Department of Libraries,
Auditorium, 'Museums and Stadia for more than eight hours per
day or forty, hours per week in doing the following work: r4
Necessary for maintenance and operation of parking "
at Municipal Stadium.
And, WHEREAS;, This emergency arose by reason of the following
facts and circumstances:
Could not be handled by untrained personnel.
THEREFORE$ BE IT RESOLVED, That the proper city officers are
hereby authorized to pay the employes shown on the attached
list, who performed such work in accordance with the pro-
visions of the Council's salary ordinance, No. 6446.
