HOLLAND, Commissioner ARTHUR F. COLEMAN, Deputy Commissioner May 19, 1958 Comsr. B. T. Holland Dept. of Parks, Playgrounds And Public Buildings Dear Sir: ROBERT A. LOBDELL SuptFblleoon Contract Number G 1063 was awarded to Karl Dedolph Construction Company for installation of Rolling Steel Shutters at Two Re- freshment Stands at Como Park, Saint Paul, Minnesota. During the course of the work under this contract, it was found desirable to furnish aluminum plates approximately Eft by ,34" to cover four channels, these plates to be 1 /811 thick I secured with Phillips head screws. The ends of the lock- ing bar devices which project beyond the edges of the shutters are to be enclosed with a Z bar enclosure approximately 6" high with a cover plate on top to complete the enclosure. The necessary stops to keep the shutters down at the locking bar will be formed of 1/8" material into 3/411 squares and will vary in length depending upon their location. Negotiations have been conducted with the contractor, who agrees to do this for $150.00, which is a reasonable amount for the labor and material involved. It is, therefore, requested that a resolution be submitted to the Council authorizing this extra in the amount of $150.00 to Contract G 1063 to cover the above described work. Yours truly, Al ed H.
