RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract for.the Installation of Traffic Control Signals
at Highland Parkway,and Snelling Avenue; Marshall Avenue & Otis Avenue and Revising
the Signal at Robert Street and Fillmore Avenue to KEHNE ELECTRIC COMPANY, INC. in
accordance with City plans and specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal
Bid #7046 of said Kehne Electric Company, Inc. for the contract price of $16,282.00
(Unit prices bid to be used in determining the value of any additions and 80% of unit
prices bid to be used in determining value of any deductions in the work to be done
under the plans which may be ordered by the Commissioner of public-works or his
authorized agent), plus $814.00 Engineering and plus $325.00 Inspection by City
forces, such bid,being the lowest and said Kehne Electric Company, Inc. being the
lowest reasonable and reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is
directed to draw up the proper form of contract therefor, and the proper City
officials hereby are authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City of
Saint Paul.
