V. City Clerk., `°°' '` 00 City Hall,, St. Paul, Minnesota. Dear Sir: One of our local licensed auctioneers, Mr. Meyer Gronik., has informed this office that he contemplates applying for a license as auctioneer in the city of St. Paul. Mr. Gronik has stated that the city of St. Paul will issue him an auctioneer's license only if the city of Milwaukee has a reciprocal licensing arrangement. This is to advise you that provision is made in the auctioneer licensing ordinance for issuance of licenses to both residents and non - residents, and a St. Paul auctioneer could obtain a non- resident license here in Milwaukee. This would seem to qualify a Milwaukee auctioneer as an applicant for an auctioneer's license in St. Paul, if we are correctly informed as to the terms of your reciprocal licensing arrangement. We are addressing this communication to you at the request of Mr. Gronik for your files and for your information, so that Mr. Gronik's application, when made, may receive the proper consideration. Very truly yours, LOUIS E. WITT Sealer of Weights & Measures Deputy /91ty PJD:PC Form WM -4
