RESOLVED, That the Council hereby concurs in the recommendation of the
Purchasing Committee in awarding contract for furnishing and delivering

approximately 111,500 gallons Motor Gasoline to various departments, for
the period of June, July and August 1958 to SHELL OIL COMPANY in accordance
with'dity� specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid #7068
of said Shell Oil.Company for the contract price of approximately $13,562.70,
such bid being the lowest and said Shell Oil Company being the lowest reliable
and reasonable bidder, and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed
to draw up the proper form of contract therefor, and the proper City officials
hereby are authorized to execute said contract on-behalf of the City of St.
Paul.
