/ COYNCIL RESOLUTION - GENERAL FORM
PRESENTED BY
COMMISSION(
WHEREAS, the date of Thursday, July 24th, has been
selected as the date for the City and County Employees Annual
Picnic, to be held in Highland Park, and
WHI EAS, the members of the City Council desire to
encourage attendance of the employees, feeling that this event
does much to promote a wholesome and beneficial relationship
among City and County Employees, therefore be it
RESOLVED, That the proper City Officials be and they are
hereby authorized and directed to release those employees who
wish to attend and participate in the picnic on the 24th day
of July, 1958; provided however, that said officials shall
arrange for necessary skeleton crews to remain at work to con-
duct the business of the City and County, and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City Council urge their
representatives on the City Hall and Court House Commission to
adopted a similar resolution applicable to the employees under
their supervision.
