W HEREAS, Saint Paul Pazks and Recreation, tluough its Recreation for Adults �0 + Program, offers many events, classes and
acrivrties during the yeaz, and
WHEREAS, many of the adults 50 +(senior citizens and retirees) aze on a liunted income, and
WHEREAS, the Recrearion for Adults 50 + program hies to keep prices low for participating seniors, and
WHEREAS, there aze some Adults 50 + and senior serving agencies who have money in theu budget to donate toward various
recrea[ion opportuniries in order to fund prograznming for those who do not have eacpendable income, now
THERREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that Saint Paul Parks and Recrearion is authorized to accept monetary donarions from
individuals and organizations as honorariums for entertainment, memorial donarions and miscellaneous contriburions to the
Recreation for Adults 50 + Program in the calendaz yeaz 2009.
