PAUL COUNCIL N 4 7 OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK PILE NO. 0 COUN IL RESOLUTION — GENERAL FORM KOINtj DATE VEREAS, The Civil Service Commissioner has reported in accordance with Section 53 of the City Charter, the existence of an emergency during the period from March 1, 1958, to May 1, 1958, which rendered necessary the employment of certain employees of the Civil Service Bureau for more than eight hours per day or forty hours per week in doing the following work: Increased number of transactions entered; necessary to administer examinations on Saturday. And WEMAS, This emergency arose by reason of the following facts and circumstances: Could not be handled by untrained personnel. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, THAT the proper city officers are hereby - authorized. to pay the employees shown on the attached list, who performed such work in accordance with the provisions of the Council's salary ordinance, No. 64".
