of 500 square feet at $.70 per square foot, or a total of.

Dear Sir:
Purchase Order No. R 4237 was issued, bids were taken, and
contract awarded to Henry Roadfeldt for certain grouting
and gunite work at the bear pits at Como Park Zoo.
The original contract is for 480 square feet of area to be
covered at a price of $495.00.
A request has been made to increase the amount of work and
this office has a letter from Mr. Roadfeldt calling for
500 square feet of additional work at a cost of $.70 per
square foot, making an extra of $350.00.
This office believes this is a reasonable cost for this
work and is lower than the original unit price. It is recom-
mended that this extra be granted.
