RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the purchasing Committee
therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering to the Mater
Department f.o.b. St. Paul, Minnesota, 10,280 feet of 2411 Prestressed Concrete
Cylinder Pipe (Class 150) with rubber and steel joints and appurtenances to
LOCK JOINT PIPE COMPANY in accordance with City specifications therefor hereto
attached and the Formal Bid #6963 of said Lock Joint Pipe Company for the contract
price of $117,089.20 (Board of Water Commissioners reserving the right to increase
the Materials of the Contract by an amount not to exceed ten per centum of the quantities
indicated for that item), such bid being the lowest and said Lock Joint Pipe Company
being a reasonable and reliable bidder, and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is
directed to draw up the proper form of contract therefor, and the proper City
.officials hereby
