Holland An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 6446, entitled: 11An administrative ordinance fixing the com- pensation rates of certain city positions and employ- ments, t approved January 23, 1925, as. amended. This is an emergency ordinance rendered necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety. THE COUNCIL, OF THE CITY` OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN: Section 1. That Ordinance No, 644.6, approved January 23, 1925, as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended by adding to Section :III the following: "(K) To any employee who works on a regularly assigned 'shift, beginning earlier than 6 a. m. and ending later than 6 P. M. , provided that at least five hours of the shift are worked between the hours of 6 p. m. and 6 a. m. , there shall be paid a night differential for the entire shift. The night differential shall be equivalent to 5% of the employees regular rate, and shall be paid only for those night shifts actually worked; provided, ` . however, that the provisions of this subsection shall not apply to employees,to: whom the provisions of Section I (Q) and (H) or Section III (D) are applicable 11 -• +'Section 2. This. ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency ordinance rendered necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety. Section 3.
