OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK FILE NCIL RESOLUTION — GENERAL FORM TF 18 6 02 WHEREAS., the Commissioner of Pablic Utilities has reported, in accordance with Section 53 of the City Charter, the existence of an emergency during the period from March 1st to March 15th 1958 inc., which rendered necessary the employment of certain employees of the Water Department for more than eight hours per day or forty hours per week in doling the following work: (1) Engineering work and supervision of employees making repairs to Snelling Reservoir (2) Handling meter reading cards received•in mail on Saturday: AND WERFAS, this emergency arose by reason of the following facts and circumstances: (l) In order to speed repairs: (2) In order to have readings ready for billers on Monday. THEREFORE ;,BP IT RESOLVED, that the proper city officers are hereby authorized.to pay the employees who performed such work in accordance with the provisions of the Council's Salary Ordinaiice., Ordinance No. 6446.
