WHEREAS, the Council has been informed by.the
Corporation Counsel that the State of Minnesota is
taking an appeal to the District Court of the County
of Ramsey from that certain decision rendered by the
Minnesota Railroad and Warehouse Commission on March
19, 1958, in its Docket M -4260, entitled "In the Matter
of the Application of the Northwestern Bell Telephone
Company for anF.' Order Establishing Fair and Reasonable
Rates and Charges for Telephone Service Furnished by
the-Company within the State of Minnesota ", by which
Order of the Commission telephone rates in the State
of Minnesota were permitted to be raised by the said
Company, now therefore be-it
RESOLVED, that the Office of the Corporation
Counsel is hereby instructed to lend its aid and co-
operate in all matters with the.Attorney General of the
State of Minnesota in this certain appeal, protesting
the Order of the Commission which granted the Petition
of the Northwestern Bell Telephone Company for increased
rates and charges for telephone service in the State of
Minnesota.
