therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing for the Department of Public
Works, Bureau of Aunicipal Equipment and delivering to the Leach Company, Oshkosh,
Wisconsin, four International R -192, 24,000 minimum G.V.W. Truck Chassis, to
INTERNATIONAL HARVESTER COMPANY in accordance with City specifications therefor
hereto attached and the Formal Bid #6977 of said International Harvester Company at
a contract price of $16,204.00, such bid being the lowest and said International
Harvester Company being a reasonable and reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel
be and hereby is authorized to draw up the proper form of contract therefor and the
proper City officials are hereby directed to execute said contract on behalf of the
