WHEREAS, Ross Mason was paid the sum of $280.00 for
compensation resulting from his injury of December 12, 1956,
while in the employ of the Department of Public Works, for an
estimated 20 per cent permanent partial disability to his right
middle finger; and
WHEREAS, a later estimate reflects a 40 per cent
permanent partial disability to the right middle finger, and
a 10 per cent permanent partial disability to the right ring
finger; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That Ross Mason be paid the sum of $479.00
out of the Workmen's Compensation Account of the General Fund,
in full settlement of his claim against the City of Saint Paul
for compensation resulting from his injury of December 12, 1956,
said sum representing compensation due him for 40 per cent permanent
partial disability to his right m',ddle finger, or 14 weeks, plus
2.5 weeks for 10 per cent disability to his right ring finger, plus
150per cent for injury to more than one member, 'a total of 18.975
weeks at $40 per week, or $759.00, less $280.00 heretofore paid
Mr. Mason toward this disability.
