In the Matter of regrading, curbing and paving Snelling Avenue from Montreal Avenue
to Edgcumbe Road; paving alley and driveway returns; reconstructing existing
curb and sidewalk where necessary; constructing new sidewalk where necessary;
constructing sewer, water and gas service connections from street mains to
property lines where necessary; constructing storm water sewer from Edgcumbe
Road to 800 feet north of the north line of Edgcumbe Road to provide street
drainage•facilities; reconstructing the paving, curbing and sidewalks on the
intersecting streets where not in conformity with said improvement; constructing
conduits and appurtenances for future lighting and traffic control systems and
doing all other work which is necessary and incidental to complete said improvement,

A public hearing having been had upon the above improvement upon due notice, and the Council
having heard all persons, objections and recommendations relative thereto, and having fully considered
the same; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of St. Paul that the precise nature, extent and kind of im-
provement to be made by the said City is. regrade, curb and pave Snelling Avenue from
Montreal Avenue to Edgcumbe Road; pave alley and driveway returns; reconstruct existing
curb iqdZ*de1rwhere necessary ;.construct new sidewalk where necessary; construct
sewer, water and gas service connections from street mains to property lines where
necessary; construct storm water sewer from Edgcumbe Road to 800 feet north of the
north 4ARe of Edgcumbe Road to provide street drainage facilities; reconstruct the
paving curbing and sidewalks on the intersecting streets where not in conformity with
said improvement; construct conduits and appurtenances for future lighting and traffic
control systems and.do all -other work which is necessary and incidental�to complete -
said improvement,�paving to be 7" concrete base and 32 ":asphaltic concrete surfacing,
and the Council hereby orders said improvement to be made.
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Commissioner of Public Works be and is hereby instructed and
directed to prepare plans and specifications for said improvement, and submit same to the Council for
that upon said approval, the proper city officials are hereby authorized and directed to pro-
ceed with the making of said improvement in accordance therewith.
