In the Matter of condemning and taking a temporary easement for the purpose of construct-
ing a sewer in the vacated alley in C. Weide's Sub. of Block 45, Arlington Hills Addition and
in the 20 foot wide easement extending across the right -of -way of the Northern Pacific Railroac
from said vacated alley, said temporary easement being 20 feet in width and being adjacent to
Vthe southeasterly property lines of Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4, in C. Weide's Sub. of Block 45,
Arlington Hills Addition, and Lots 38, 39, 40 and 41 in C. Weide's Sub. of Block 37, Arlington
Hills Addition and Wadena Avenue and Greenbrier Street, said easement extending from the east
line of Greenbrier Street to the northerly line of the vacated alley in C. Weide's Sub. of
Block 45, Arlington Hills Addition,
under Preliminary Order 186756 approved March 27, 1958
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered'to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is condemn and take a
temporary easement for the purpose of constructing a.sewer in the vacated alley in C. Weide's
Sub. of Block 45, Arlington Hilla Addition and in the 20 foot wide easement extending across
the right -of -way of the Northern Pacific_Railroad: "from said vacated alley, said temporary
easement being 20 feet in width and being adjacent"to the southeasterly property lines of
Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4, in C. Weide's Sub. of Block 45, Arlington Hills.Addition, and Lots 38,
39, 40 and 41 in C. Weide's Sub.. of Block 37.., Arlington Hills Addition and Wadena Avenue and
Greenbrier Street, said easement.extending from the east line of Greenbrier Street to the
northerly line of the vacated alley in C. Weide'- s.Sub. of Block 45, Arlington Hills Addition,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 425 . oo
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 20th day of
May 19 -a-, at the hour of 10 ale lock, A. M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
