SAS, The Commissioner, of Libraries, Auditorium,
-Museums and Stadia has reported in accordance with.
Section 53 of the City Charter, the existence of :. --dn
emergency during the period from April 1' "'E6" 1958,.
which rendered necessary the employment of certain
employes of the Department of Libraries, Auditorium,
.museums and Stadia for more than:eight hours per day
or forty hours per week in doing the following work:
Necessary for maintenance of Municipal Stadium in
preparation for opening game.
And, WIZEI A'S,. This emergency arose by reason of the
following facts and circume;tances
Could not be handled by unt7dned personnel.
TF.lEREFORE BE IT MS,OLVED, Tha t the p rop e r c i t y off i c e rs
are hereby authorized to pay the employes shown on the
attached list who performed such work in accordance with
the provisions of the Council's salary ordinance", No. 6446.
