RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract for furnishing all labor, materials and
services necessary for and reasonably incidental to the installation of Fencing
at Bear pits and Buffalo Pen located at Como Park Zoo, Saint Paul, Minnesota to
U. S. STEEL CORPORATION, AMERICAN STEEL & WIRE DIVISION, CYCLONE FENCE DEPARTMENT
in accordance with City plans and specifications therefor hereto attached and the
Formal Bid #7017 of said U. S. Steel Corporation, American Steel & Wire Division,
Cyclone Fence Department for the contract price of $4,000.00, such bid being the
lowest and ',said U. S. Steel Corporation, American Steel & Wire Division, Cyclone
Fence Department being a reasonable and reliable bidder, and the Corporation'k
Counsel be',!and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form of contract therefor, and
the proper ;City officials hereby are authorized to execute said contract on behalf
of the City of Saint Paul.
