RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves th& award of the Purchasing
Committee therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering
to the Bureau of Municipal Equipment, 891 North Dale Street, One Minneapolis-
Moline 445 Industrial Tractor with Ottawa No. DX -445 Backhoe and Ottawa No.
SS -445 Front End Loader combination to BEMENT- CAHILL EQUIPMENT COMPANY in
accordance with City specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal
Bid #6856 of said Bement - Cahill Equipment Company at a contract price of
$7691.15, such bid being the lowest meeting City specifications and said
Bement - Cahill Equipment Company being-a reasonable and reliable bidder and
the Corporation Counsel be, and hereby is directed to draw up the proper
form of contract therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are
authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
