Dear Sir:
ROBERT A. LOBDELL
Supt. of Public Recreation
Contract Number L 5938 A was awarded to Dean Lundholm Construc-
tion Co., Ind. for General Work in connection with Three Fire
Stations at Marion and Front #22, Maryland and Herbert #9,
and Edgcumbe and St. Paul #19, St. Paul, Minnesota.
During the course of the work under this contract, the follow -
ing work was found to be desirable at each station:
Cut hole in roof slab, place wood curb and cant strip,
flash around curb, and work incidental to placing
dryer on floor of the hose drying room
and at the request of the Commissioner of Public Safety, nego-
tiations have been conducted with the contractor who agrees to
do the work for $606.00. This is a reasonable amount for the
labor and material involved and it is, therefore, requested
that a resolution be submitted to the Council authorizing an
extra in the amount of $606.00 to Contract L 5938 A to cover
the above described changes.
Yours truly,
Alf 9d H. Schroeder
