RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing to the Bureau of Municipal
Equipment, 891 North Dale .Street, St. Paul, Minnesota - Two Rosco - MTA -3, 2,000
Gallon Streamlined Street Flushers to RUFFRIDGE - JOHNSON EQUIPMENT COMPANY, INC. in
accordance with City specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid
#6897 of said Ruffridge- Johnson Equipment Company, Inc. for-the contract price of
$8,505.20 (Flusher units to be mounted on truck chassis delivered to the Flusher
Vendor's plant. Truck and flusher unit mounted complete and ready for operation
to be delivered by Flusher Vendor to the Bureau of Municipal Equipment, 891 North
Dale Street, St. Paul, Minnesota), such bid being the lowest and said Ruffridge-
Johnson Equipment Company, Inc. being a reasonable and reliable bidder,_and_ the
Corporation Counsel be, and hereby is authorized to draw -up the proper form of
contract therefor and the prdper City officials are hereby directed to execute
said contract on behalf of the City of St. Paul.
