therefor,and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering to the Depart-
ment of Public Works, Bureau of Municipal Equipment, 891 North Dale, St. Paul,
Minnesota, one Allis - Chalmers HD16AG Torque Converter Driven Crawler -type Tractor
equipped with dozer to BORCHERT- INGERSOLL, INC. in accordance with City specifications
therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid #6892 of said Borchert - Ingersoll, Inc.
at a cost of $29,160.00 less allowance of $4,600.00 for one 1953 International
Crawler Tractor with Drott Bull Clam and cab, serial No. TR30912, model TD18A,
City No. 430 to be taken in trade, making net amount of contract $24,560.00, such
bid being the only bid and said Borchert - Ingersoll, Inc. being a reasonable and
reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up
the proper form of contract therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are
authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City of St. Paul.
