RESOLVED, that F. W. Ramaley & Co. be permitted to
install and operate a private parking lot on the south side
of Grand Avenue between Dale and St. Albans Streets, more
particularly described as Lots 10, 11, 12, and, except east
17 and 1/6 feet, Lot 9, Block 2, Summit Park Addition, in
accordance with applicant's plans approved January 9, 1958,
and subject to .compliance with the provisions of all ordinances
governing the operation of parking lots, and subject further to
the condition that the sidewalks abutting said premises be kept
clean and free of ice and snow at all times.

This is in the matter of the application of F. W. Ramaley & Co. for
a permit to install and operate a customer parking lot at the rear
of Ramaley's Liquor Store located on the south side of Grand Avenue
.approximately, in the center of the block between Dale & St. Albans„
The purpose of the parking lot is to serve customers of Ramaley's
Liquor & O'Connell's Restaurant. This property is described as Lot 9
except the east 17 1/6 ft., and all of lots 10,11,12, Block 2, Summit
Park Addition. The zoning is Commercial..
The adjacent land uses are as follows: a public garage is to the
east, retail stores are to the west, Ramaley's Liquor store and
O'Connell's restaurant are immediately to the north, single family
homes are across a 20 ft, alley to the south.
The parking area has a frontage of 83 ft. along the alley and extends
northerly a distance of 84.5 ft. The capacity of the parking lot is
for 16 cars. The plans meet existing standards and have been approved
by the Traffic Engineer. Field investigation discloses no objection
from the standpoint of adjacent land use or traffic. Access to the
...parking area will be from two 21.5 ft. driveways on the alley. The
property will be. suitably fenced and surfaced in accordance with all
existing standards.-
In consideration of these factors, the Zoning Board recommends this
permit be granted in accordance with the applicant's plans approved
January 9, 1958.
