this work having been requested by the Commissioner of Pub-

Contract Number G -1152 was awarded to Tab Construction
Company for Alterations to the Building at 666 East
Third Street, St, Paul, Minnesota.
.During the course of the work under this contract, cer-
tain changes were found to be desirable, and at the
request of the Commissioner of Public Works negotiations
have been conducted with the contractor who agrees to
make the following changes for the amounts listed:
Install plaster on existing scored tile from
floor to ceiling on north wall of Room 108,
Add $66.00
Install 12 new roof joists in area where ex-
isting roof joists are rotted, including re-
moval and replacement of plaster ceiling
where necessary to install these joists Add 180.00
$246.00
Use existing footing (which is in good condi-
tion) for new block wall between Room 108 and
Room 109, deduct cost of installing new foot -
ing Credit 30.00
Net Extra $216.00
.This is a reasonable amount for the labor and material
.involved, and it is therefore requested that a resolution
.be submitted to the Council authorizing this extra in the
amount of $216.00 to Contract Number G -1152 to cover the
above described changes.
