RESOI:WD, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract for the Construction of New Ornamental Lights
on Wabasha Street from South End of Mississippi River Bridge to E. Winifred Street
(Contract M -165) and on South Robert Street from Fillmore Avenue to Concord Street
(Contract M -166) to COLLINS ELECTRICAL CONSTRUCTION COMPANY in accordance with City
plans and specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid #6832 of said
Collins Electrical Construction Company for the contract price of $111,691.00 (Unit
prices bid to be applied to any required additions and 80 percent of unit prices
bid to required deductions), (plus Engineering $2,910.00 by City Forces), such bid
being the lowest and said-Collins Electrical Construction Company being a reasonable,,--
and reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw
up the proper form of contract.therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are
authorized to execute said'contiact on behalf of the City of Saint Paul..
