An ordinance amending Chapter 154 of the Saint
Paul Legislative Code, pertaining to taxicabs. This
is an emergency ordinance rendered necessary for the
preservation of the public peace, health and safety.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That Section 154.019- of the Saint Paul
Legislative Cade, is hereby amended by striking from
subsection (1) thereof the paragraph which reads as
follows:
"Forty -five cents (45f) for the
first one -fifth mile or fraction
thereof, with five cents (5f) for each
additional one -fifth mile or fraction.

and by inserting in-lieu and in place thereof the'fo.11owing
paragraph:
"Forty -five cents (45�) for the
first one -sixth mile or fraction
thereof, with five cents (5�) for
each additional one -sixth mile or
fraction thereof."
Section 2. This ordinance is hereby declared to be
an emergency ordinance rendered necessary for the preservation
of the public peace, health and safety.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be
in force upon its passage, approval and publication.

THE COUNCIL Of THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
