RESOLVED, That an extra in the amount of $35.00 be allowed
under contract number L- 5938A -1 between the City of Saint Paul and
Kothe's Landscaping, said contract for the sodding around Fire
Station No. 9, Fire Station No. 22 and Fire Sbtion No. 19, Saint
Paul, Minnesota, said extra to cover fifteen (15) cubic yards of
black dirt made necessary on account of installation of new side-
walk on Marion StreO-t which was installed after contract -was awarded,
this work having been requested.by the Commissioner of Public
Safety, and agreement made with the Contractor, and a memorandum
of said agreement having been filed with the Comptroller and counter-

We offer to furnish fifteen (15) cubic yards of black
dirt and spread same to a point approximately ten (10)
feet from the sidewalk line of Marion Street for the
sum of thirty five ($35.00).
This is necessary on account of the installation Rf the
new sidewalk on Marion Street which was installed after
the contract was awarded us. The sidewalk was installed
approximately six (6) inches above the existing grade.
