Resolution of Council Approving Assessment
and Fixing Time of Hearing Thereon
In the matter of the assessment of benefits, costs and expenses
for
installing sewer, water and gas service connections on Rice St. from Sherburne Ave.
to Sycamore St., from street mains to property lines complete where not already
made, and replacing worn out and defective service connections with new connections,
where necessary, and extending,'or reconstructing - =existing service connections
on the west side, where necessary, in order to conform to the widened street and roadway
under Preliminary Order 181762 , approved March 5, 1957
Intermediary Order 182918 , approved_ -- May 21, 1957 ,
Final'Order 18311 , approved June 18, 1957 ,
The assessment'of benefits, • costs and expenses for and in connection with
the above improvement having been submitted to the Council, and the Council having considered same
and found the said assessment satisfactory, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the said assessment be and the same is hereby in all respects approved.
RESOLVED FURTHER, That a public hearing be had on said assessment on the 12th
day of Hnvember 19-5EL, at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., in the Council Chamber of
the Court House and City Hall Building, in the City of St. Paul; that the Commissioner of Finance
give notice of said meetings, as required by the Charter, stating in said notice the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement, the total cost thereof, and the amount assessed against the
lot or lots of the particular owner to whom the notice is directed.
