RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing
Coli>mittee therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering
to the Department of Public Works, Bureau of Municipal Equipment, 891 Notth
Dale Street, St. Paul, Minnesota, Five 13- Cu.Yd. Gar Wood Loadpacker Model
LP-,513 Garbage Bodies (Vendor to mount bodies on truck chassis furnished by
City of St. Paul) to SMITH, INCORPORATED in accordance with City
specifications therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid #7360 of said
Smith, Incorporated, for the contract price of $19,915,00, such bid being
the, lowest and said bidder being a reasonable and reliable one, and the
Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form of
contract therefor and the proper City officials are hereby authorized to
execute said contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
