RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract for furnishing a minimum of eight Tow Trucks,
including operators, when called upon by the Department of Public Works for the
purpose of removing cars from the streets during the 1958 -59 snow removal
operations, to BISHOP TONING SERVICE in accordance with City specifications and
the Formal Bid #7287 of said Bishop Towing Service at the rate of $7.00 per hour,
including operating expense, fuel, adequate insurance and repairs, such bid being
the only bid and said Bishop Towing Service being a reliable and reasonable bidder,
and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form of
contract therefor, and the proper City officials hereby are authorized to execute
said contract on behalf of the City of St. Paul.
