COUNCIL RESOLUTION - GENERAL FORM

COMMISSION
WHEREAS, The Commissioner of Libraries, Auditorium Museums and Stadia has
reported in accordance with Section 53 of the City Charter, the existence of an
emergency during the period from July 27th through August 30, 1958 which rendered
necessary the employment of certain employees of the Department of Libraries,
Auditorium, Museums and Stadia, Bureau of ,auditorium, for more than eight hours per
day or forty hours per week in doing the following work:
Operate switchnoard, ventilating systems and also to
supervise during the Pop Musical Ice Revue shows held
in the building.
and WHEREAS, This emergency arose by reason of the following facts and circum-
stances:
No other trained help available to work during the Pop
Musical Ice Revue shows and figure skating sessions held
in the building. This time includes Saturdays and Sundays.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the proper City Officers are hereby authorized to
Pay the employees who performed such work in accordance with the provisions of
the Councills Salary Ordinance No. 6446.
