RESOLVED, That the Purchasing Agent be and he is hereby authorized with
the consent of the Mayor and the Comptroller, to purchase from PARK
MACHINE COMPANY services and materials for changing over swing shaft
gear and drum assembly, machine press on assembly complete, on Lorain
Shovel at a cost of approximately $350.00, without advertisement or
competitive bids as an emergency exists where failure to act promptly
would work hardship to the best interests of the City.
