Taxicab Corporation for the City of Saint Paul LicenseID #:20070001687 Dear Mr. Salah: Salah d/b/a Airport & Airline The Department of Safety and Inspections (DSI) has recommended suspension of the T�icab Vehicle license held by Abdullahi A. Salah dlbfa Airport and Airline Taxicab Corporation for the City of Saint Paul. The basis for the recommendation is as follows: According to DSI records, your Taxicab Vehicle license expired on November 22, 2008 and is now delinquent. You currently owe $381.00 in delinquent license and late fees. You were also required to submit a Vehicle Inspection Sheet. As of today's date the delinquent license and late fees have not been paid and you have not suhmitted the required Vehicle Inspection Sheet. At this time you have three options on how to proceed: You can pay the delinquent license and late fees of $381.00 and submit a Vehicle Inspection Sheet. If this is your cho3ce, you should send the payment and information directly to the Department of Safety and Inspections, at 375 Jackson Street, Ste. 220, St. Paul, Minnesota 55101-1806 no later than Monday, February 9, 2009. Information should be directed to the attention of Christine Rozek. A self-addressed envelope is enclosed for your convenience. Payment of the delinquent license and late fees and submission of the Vehicle Inspection Sheet will be considered to be a waiver of the hearing to which you aze entitled. If you wish to admit the facts but contest the penalty, you may have a public hearing before the Saint Paul City Council, you wi11 need to send me a letter with a statement admitting the facts and requesting a public hearing. We will need to receive your letter by Monday, February 9, 2009. The matter will then be scheduled before the City Council for a public hearing to detezznine whether to impose the license suspension. You wi11 have an opportunity to appeaz before the Council and make a statement on your own behalf. 3. If you no longer wish to do business in the City of Saint Paul, you will need to send a written statement to that effect to the Department of Safety and Inspections (DSI), at 375 Jackson Street, Ste. 220, St. Paul, Minnesota 55101-1806 no later than Monday, February 9, 2009.
