PAUL OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK NL, RESOLUTION — GENERAL FORM COUNCIL 1 � �'J66 FILE NO• Council File No. 190366 —By Joseph E Dillon, mayor — Resolved, That this Council, bei� : -, advised a-. the premix is .` RESOLVED, that this Council, being duly advised in the premises, finds that, by reason of unforeseen and excessive claims which have accrued as charges against the same, the City funds appropriated therefor and credited to the Workmen's Compensation Fund, 31 G 1, are inadequate to properly protect the public interests and there has been created and now exists a sudden and unforeseen emergency, on such - account; that to meet said emergency it has become and is necessary that, pursuant to Section 206 of the City Charter, the City borrow, temporarily, not to exceed the sum of $39,501.69, to be credited to said Workmen's Compensation Account, 31 G 1; that the Mayor and the __—_Comptroller be and hereby are authorized and directed, for the purpose aforesaid, to borrow, in the City's behalf, not to exceed the sum of $39,501.69, and to execute and deliver to the party or parties making such loan, the promissory note of the City of Saint Paul in the same principal sum, payable to such party or parties, bearing interest not to exceed four per cent per annum, and payable within one year after the date of such loan, the said sum to be credited asaforesaid to said Workmen's Compensation Account 31 G-1, subject therein to disbursement for the purposes of said emergency and the particular purposes of said Fund. �F COUNCILMEN Yeas Nays Holland Mortinson Peterson Tn Favor Rosen Winkel .Against Mr. President, Dillon 5M 5 -58 2 Adopted by the Cou DEG 23 1958 ncil 19 DEC 23 1958 PUBLISHED _ f -P - -0 7- 51" ,DUPLICATE TO PRINTER PRESENTED BY COMMISSION 19( )366 CITY OF ST.
