WHEREAS, the firm of Vennum, Newhall and Ackman, by
contract, was hired to and did complete the editorial work on the
present Saint Paul Legislative Code to October 31, 1956, and under
authority of this Council brought the Code down to date as of
December 31, 1957; and
WHEREAS, the Council finds it necessary and expedient
that said Code be brought down to date as of December 31, 195$;.
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the proper City officers are hereby
authorized to ent6t into a contract on behalf of the City to hire
and employ the firm of Vennum, Newhall, Ackman & Goetz, for the
purpose hereinabove expressed, on the same terms and conditions
formerly applicable under previous revision of the Legislative
Code by the then firm of Vennum, Newhall and Ackman, at a fee-of
$1,000 to be charged to Corporation Counsel Fund 3 A6.
