1 WHEREAS, on October 15, 2008, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul adopted Council File #08-
2 1146, said Resolution being the Ratification of Assessment for collection of delinquent vacant building
3 monitoring £ees re-invoiced in July 2008 (File No. VB0801, Assessment No. 8563); and
5 WHEREAS, the property at 949 Sherburne Avenue, being described as:

University Ave. Add. Lot 5 Blk 3;
9 with the property identification number 35-29-23-24-0192 was assessed an amount of $1,070.00 for
10 delinquent vacant building fees; and
11
12 WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends refunding the assessment as the property owner
13 did not receive proper legal notification.

15 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the amount of the assessment for this property be refunded, plus
16 any accrued interests; and
17
18 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the reduction of $1,070.00, plus any accrued interests, be funded by
19 the Exempt Assessment Fund.
