This Department has completed an investigation of the build-
ing located at 192 Duke Street, described as Except North
88.0 feet Lot 8, Grace's Sub. of Block 2, Willers Addition
to Saint Paul, Minnesota.
This is a frame duplex dwelling, 30 by 30, vacant, dilapi-
dated with basement joists rotted, chimneys hanging from
the wall, plaster loose and falling, siding separated, porch
rotted and falling apart, no toilet facilities, outside
stairway to second floor rotted, water from sinks draining
to �an old well. This building is dangerous to life, limb
and adjoining property.
A Danger Notice has been posted and letters addressed to
Frank J. Bilek, record owner; and the State of Minnesota
are now listed as owners on account of non payment of taxes.
Please set a hearing for condemnation of this building in
accordance with Section 1.07 -2 of the Legislative Code, which
outlines condemnation action.
