OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK f ulncil File No. 190151 —By Mrs. Donald COUNCIL RES UTION— GENERAL FORM :t.' ;"eed,, That the Council of the Q yea. n" 11A 1_, 1.nrehy approves L= r" tb-,ducPd DATE RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of :Saint Paul hereby approves the following bill to be introduced in the Minnesota State Legislature, 1959 Session: "A BILL FOR AN ACT RELATING TO EXEMPTION OF CERTAIN PERSONAL PROPERTY FROM TAXATION AND AMENDING MINNESOTA STATUTES 1953, SECTION 272.02, AND ALLOWING THE INCLUSION OF THE ASSESSED VALUE FOR 1958 OF SUCH PERSONAL PROPERTY SO EXEMPTED IN DETERMINING THE LIMIT OF INDEBTEDNESS, THE SALARIES OF PUBLIC OFFICIALS, AND THE MILLAGE LIMITA- TION OF POLITICAL SUBDIVISIONS." RESOLVED, FURTHER, that said bill is limited in its objectives to the exemption of personal property of every house- hold from taxation, and that the adoption,by the Council of this resolution is not intended to show the Council's opinion relative to the exemption from taxation of personal property of a nature other than said tax on household goods.
