Winkel — Resolved, That the proper cif y of l- Dispatching motor vehicles for all emergency work cers are hereby authorized to pay Operating equipment on emergency repair work certain employes the Department of Public Works for r the employment as described in the resolution. Emergency calls for sewer maintenance Adopted by the Council December Removing snow from city streets and sanding icy streets 2 Approved December 2, 1958. Removing debris from: city streets (December 8, 1958) Tending fire at Asphalt Plant on Sundays & holidays Taking care of complaints at city yards Drawing plans & specifications for grading & paving jobs Servicing municipal equipment Mimeographing grade profiles and revising house numbers Making up sidewalk assessments Inspecting city improvement jobs And WHEREAS, This emergency arose by reason of the following facts and circumstances: Nenessary of answering all emergency repair calls, keeping city streets free from snow, ice and debris, keeping fires at Asphalt Plant continuously, taking complaintsat city yards, completing plans & specifications for grading & paving jobs, need for grade profiles and house numbers, completing sidewalk assessments, keeping city equipment in good running condition, inspecting work done by contractors on street & sidewalk work. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED That the proper city officers are hereby authorized to pay the employees who performed such work in accordance with the provisions of the Councilts salary ordinance, Ordinance No. 6146.
