COUNCIL RESOWTION- GENERAL FORM
WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Public Safety has reported, in accordance with
Section 53 of the City Charter, the existence of an emergency during the period
from November 1, 1958 to November 30, 1958, which rendered necessary the employment
of certain employees in the Department of Public Safety for more than eight hours
per day, or forty hours per week, in doing the following works
HLLaintenance work in the Bureau of Building Ehintenance and
WHEREAS, this emergency arose by reason of the following facts and circumstances:
Cleaning and remodeling the third floor of the Public Safety Building.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLITED: That the proper city officers are hereby authorized
to pay the employees who performed such work in accordance with the provision of
the Council's Salary Ordinance No, 6446,
