Dear Sir: +
s 1
This is in the matter of the application of the American National Bank
for a permit to construct and operate a drive -in bank On property located
at the northeast corner of Sixth and Minnesota Streets. This property is
described as Lots 11 and 12, Block 4, St. Paul Proper. The zoning is
"Commercial". `
The property has a frontage of 99 feet on Minnesota Street, and 80 feet
along East Sixth Street, giving an area of 7,920 square feet.
The adjacent land uses are as follows to the north and adjoining is
McClusky's Men's Furnishings Company; south across Sixth Street is the_
Oppenheim Building with retail shops on the first floor; east and adjoin-
ing are Juran and Moody, Investors in Municipal Bonds, fronting on Sixth
Street. —
The Traffic Engineer'has approved the proposed development from the stand -
p nt of traffic. This facility is designed so that /the driveway on East
Si th Street will be an entrance only, and the driveway on Minnesota will
bell, an exit only. The plans submitted meet existing standards for this type
of facility. Field investigation discloses no basic objections.
In consideration of the above factors,'the Board of Zoning recommends that
this application for a drive--in bank be approved in accordance with plans t
approved October 23, 1958
Sincerely,
t- Herbert C. Wieland
