NHEREAS,-the City Clerk has reported, in accordance with Section 53 of
City Charter, the existence of an emergency during the period from
January 2nd, 1959 to January 20th, 1959 inclusive which rendered
necessary the employment of certain employe of the.City Clerk's
Office, Bureau of Records, for more than eight hours per day or
forty hours per week in doing the following work:
Processing On and Off Sale Intoxicating Liquor
license applications and bonds,
and
WHEREAS, this emergency arose by reason of the following facts and circum-
stances:
License rush period.
TiEREF'ORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the proper city officers are hereby authorized
to pay the employe who performed such work in accordance with the
provisions of the Council's Salary Ordinance, Ordinance No. 6446.
