Due to conditions beyond my control, I will be unable to appear before the Oity Council on June 10 1958, and voice my approval of this improvement. It is my opinion that the sidewalk on the South side and on the North side of Bohland from Howell to Cleveland Ave, is a must. There are an unusual large amount of children in this neighborhood and to reach,St. Leo's Ohurch & School, the Highland Shopping Oenter.,, the Highland Theatre, the Public Library, and.the Public Playground on Bohland and Kenneth, they use the street because: there- are not sufficient sidewalks. ,Needless to say the lack of sidewalks creates a hazardous condition, and sooner or later someone is going to get hurt and possibly killed. Don't wait for this to happen, Act Nowl Vote Yea, Lets have the sidewalk£. People who are opposedto the sidewalks in my opinion are not considering the welfare of others, Sincere1 , Paul++ L.
