RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Contract Committee therefor,
and hereby awards contract for furnishing all labor, material, services and equipment
necessary for the extermination of rodents from a minimum of 1,000 catch basins and any
parcels of vacant property or City yards, dumps, etc. (based on square foot area involved),
as designated, in the City of Saint Paul, for a period of one-year from July 18, 1958,
to H. V. SMITH COMPANY in accordance with City specifications therefor hereto attached,
for the contract price of approximately $3,000.00 (at unit pricefl bid), such bid being
the lowest and said H.V. Smith Company being the lowest reasonable and reliable bidder,
and the Corporation Counsel be, and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form of
contract therefor and the proper City officials hereby are authorized to execute said
contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
