RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering to the
Department of Public Works, Bureau of Municipal Equipment, 891 North Dale, Saint
Paul, Minnesota, one Seaman Model DS47 Road Material Pulverizer & Mixer to
BORCHERT- INGERSOLL, INC. in accordance with City specifications therefor hereto
attached and the Formal Bid #7114 of said Borchert-;Ingersoll, Inc. at a cost of
$13,370.00 less allowance of ,$470.00 for 1946 model NM72 Seaman Pulvi- Mixer,
Serial 72- 33 -19, City No. 916 to be taken in trade, making net amount of contract
$12,900.00, such bid being the lowest and said Borchert- Ingersoll, Inc. being a
reasonable and reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is
directed to draw up the proper form of contract therefor, and the proper City
officials hereby are authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City
of St. Paul.
