RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approved the award of the Contract Committee
therefor and hereby awards contract for furnishing and placing a reinforced con-
crete slab over certain portions of the Snelling Avenue 16 million gallon water
reservoir roof, including all materials except as noted in the specifications to
M. E. SOUTHER CONSTRUCTION COMPANY in accordance with City plans and specifications
therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid (7140 of said M. E. Souther Construction
Company for the contract price of $4,318.00, such bid being the lowest and said
M. E. Souther Construction Company being a reasonable and reliable bidder, and
the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form of
contract therefor, and the proper City officials here
said contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
