An ordinance amending the Zoning Code, Chapters 60
to 64 inclusive, of the Saint Paul Legislative Code,
pertaining to Use Districts, Height Districts and
Rezoning of certain properties in the City of Saint
Paul. This is an emergency ordinance rendered
necessary for the preservation of the public peace,
health and safety.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
\� Section 1. That the Zoning Code, Chapters 60 to 64 inclu-
sive, of the Saint Paul Legislative Code, pertaining to Use
Districts, HeightsDistricts and Rezoning of certain properties
in the City of Saint Paul, as amended, be and the same is hereby
further amended so as to rezone the following described property
fxom "Btu Residence District to "A" Residence District: '
Lots 1 through 14, Block 25, and Lots 15 through 28,
Block 26, Summit Park Addition, according to the plat
thereof on file and of record in the office of tle
Register of Deeds in and for Ramsey County, Minnesota,
being both sides of Lincoln Avenue between ChaZtswoxth and Milton
Streets.
Section 2. That despite such rezoning of said real estate
hereunder, any lawful use existing therein or in any of the
several subject tracts or parcels of the same, at and immediately
prior to the effective date of this ordinance, may be continued
therein although non - conforming to the regulations of said Zoning
Code applicable to said "Arc Residence District, in each instance,
subject to the same regulations and restrictions, under said
Zoning Code, as if the non- conforming use had been a lawful use
of the real estate existing therein on.August 22, 1922, although
non - conforming to the regulations of City of Saint Paul Building
Zone Ordinanc4'�. 5840, applicable to said "At° Residenct District
and said `rAn Residence District had been the original zoning classi-
fication of the real estate under said last mentioned ordinance.
Section 3. This ordinance is hereby dellared to be an emergency
ordinance rendered necessary for the preservation of the public peace,
health and safety.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
upon its passage, approval and publication.

THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOSS ORDAIN:

Section 1. That the Zonin Code, Chapters 60 to 64 inclu-
sive, of the Saint Paul Legislative Code, pertaining to Use
Districts, HeightsDistricts and Rezoning of Certain properties
in the City of Saint Paul, as amended, be and the same is hereby
further amended so as to rezone the following described property
from "B" Residence District to "A" Residence District:
Lots 1 through 14, Block 250 and Lots 15 through 28,
Block 260 Summit Park Addition, according to the plat
thereof on file and of record in the office of the
Register of Deeds in and Pox Ramsey County, Minnesota;
being both sides of Lincoln Avenue between Cha✓,tsworth and Milton
Streets. '

Section 2. That despite such rezoning of said real estate
hereunder, any lawful use existing therein or in any of the
several subject tracts or parcels of the same, at and immediately
prior to the effective date of this ordinance, may be continued
therein although non conforming to the regulations of said Zoning
Code applicable to said "A" Residence District, in each instance,
subject to the same regulations and restrictions, under said
Zoning Code, as if the nonconforming use had been a lawful use
of the real,estate existing therein on August 22, 1922, although
nonconforming to the regulations of City of Saint Paul ,Building
Zone Ordinance Noe 5840, applicable to said "A" Residenct District
and said "A" Residence District had been the original zoning classi-
fication of the real, estate under said last mentioned ordinance,
Section 3. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency
ordinance randexed necessary for the preservation of the public peace,
health and safety.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
upon its pssaage, approval and publication.
