RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor, and hereby awards contracts for furnishing and delivering Disc Type Cold
Water Meters to the City of St. Paul Water Meter Shop, 289 North Hamline Avenue,
St. Paul, Minnesota, as follows;
To; ROCKWELL MANUFACTURING COMPANY
500 - 3/4" Disc Type Cold Water Meters @ $37.39
making total amount of contract ........ $18,695.00
To; BADGER.METER MANUFACTURING COMPANY '
100 - 1" Disc Type Cold Water Meters @ $55.99
making total amount of contract........$5,599.00
(Board of Water Commissioners reserving the option of increasing orders not to
exceed 20%), such bids being the lowest and said companies being the lowest
reasonable and reliable bidders and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed
to draw up the proper form of contracts therefor and the proper City officials hereby
are authorized to execute said contracts on behalf of the City of St. Paul.
